Automation controls, error retry policies, production presets, and quality profiles.
The Settings panel provides central control over automation behavior, AI model assignments, automated retry rules, and production defaults.
1. Automation and Pipeline Flow
The Automation section manages how the pipeline executes when running batches:

| Automatic Steps | Characters, Storyboards, Videos, Assembly | Select which phases participate in automated runs. |
| On Error | STOP (Default) or CONTINUE | Pause pipeline at failing stage or proceed to subsequent phases. |
| Regenerate Outdated | NO (Default) or YES | Preserve existing outdated media or regenerate automatically. |
| Pre-Flight Verification | YES (Default) or NO | Run sanity checks before launching video generation batches. |
| Pre-Flight Calibration | NO (Default) or YES | Run full 5-subsystem benchmark and display warnings/blockers before automated start. |
2. Model Selection and Optimization Profiles
Assign dedicated AI models to each phase or activate pre-calibrated profiles:
- ECONOMIC Profile: Nano Banana 2 Lite + Omni 1.1 Flash at 360p draft resolution for low credit consumption.
- ASSERTIVE Profile (Default): Nano Banana Pro + Veo 3.1 Quality at 720p HD for production-grade visual fidelity.
- CUSTOM Profile: Freely mix independent models for character portraits, storyboards, and video rendering.
3. Automated Error Retries
Configure automatic handling for temporary API rate limits or network issues:

| Retried Error Codes | 429, 503, high demand, timeout | Only temporary server limits are retried; syntax or safety errors fail immediately. |
| Max Retry Attempts | 1 or 2 attempts | Caps additional automated attempts. |
| Delay Interval | 3 to 10 seconds | Pause duration between retry attempts to allow server queues to clear. |
4. Production Defaults
Consolidates all default project choices in one unified panel:
- Aspect Ratio: Sets 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 vertical as the active baseline format.
- Default Framing: Base subject position for scenes without script tags (CENTER, LEFT, RIGHT, TOP, BOTTOM).
- Default Audio & SFX: Narration voice profile, audio mode, and sound effect intensity.
- Default Transitions & Captions: Optical transition style, font family, color, and subtitle synchronization timing.
