Global Features

Header navigation, mobile layout, pre-flight safety checks, and project persistence.

Serelius Flow Video includes productivity controls, mobile adaptations, automated validations, and backup utilities available across all phases.

1. Application Header Controls

The top header provides instant access to project management, operating modes, and global actions:

ControlDescription
Phase NavigationDirect access across all 5 phases with real-time indicators (OK, ANALYZING, PENDING, MASTER).
Optimization ProfileSwitch between ASSERTIVE (maximum visual fidelity) and ECONOMIC (lower credit consumption).
Operating ModeToggle between REVIEW (manual step-by-step confirmation) and AUTOMATIC (sequential background pipeline).
STARTInitiates the automated pipeline for characters, storyboards, videos, and assembly.
PAUSE QUEUEPrevents new generations from starting while letting active Flow jobs complete normally.
CALIBRATIONDedicated 5-pillar benchmark modal testing storage, schema, compiler, models, and WebCodecs.
SETTINGSOpens project configuration (automation gates, default models, retry thresholds).
RECONNECT MEDIARe-links uploaded videos and images with the project from the Google Flow media gallery.
NEW SCRIPTStarts a fresh project while preserving voice preferences, pacing, models, and settings.
IMPORT / EXPORTFull project backup and restoration in JSON format.
Language & ThemeSelect interface language (EN / PT / ES) and toggle Light or Dark theme.

2. Mobile and Small Screens

When accessed on smartphone or tablet viewports, the layout automatically adapts:

  • Fixed Bottom Navigation (64px): Previous phase button, primary phase action button, and next phase button.
  • Stage Pill and Drawer: Tap the top stage indicator to open a bottom sheet showing all phases and their completion status.
  • Streamlined Top Bar: Secondary actions move into a compact dropdown menu.

3. Language Architecture

The tool clearly separates interface localization from video production languages:

  • Interface Localization: English, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. Modifying interface language does not affect AI prompts or video content.
  • Video Spoken Language: Portuguese (Brazil), US English, or Neutral Spanish. Dictates the narration voice and character speech.
  • Script Keywords: The parser accepts scene keywords in EN, PT, and ES (such as SCENE, CENA, or ESCENA).

4. Pre-Flight Safety Checks

Before initiating START, GENERATE VIDEOS, or FINAL ASSEMBLY, the engine validates project readiness without calling Google Flow:

CheckTrigger ContextSeverity
Storyboard frame pending or erroredGenerate VideosWarning
Video clip missing or failedFinal AssemblyBlocker
Asset or storyboard flagged as outdatedBefore generationWarning
Spoken text too long for 8-second scene durationBefore video renderWarning
FACT scene containing character speechBefore video renderWarning
Scene visual style or script syntax warningBefore video renderWarning
Referenced asset not registered in Phase 2Before video renderWarning
Match-Cut transition clip pending or failedFinal AssemblyWarning

5. Outdated Media Protection

When a script line, aspect ratio, framing option, or speech pace changes after a scene image or video is generated:

  • The asset is preserved and labeled with an amber OUTDATED badge.
  • Outdated media is never regenerated automatically unless explicitly configured.
  • You choose whether to keep the existing asset or regenerate it, preventing unintentional credit consumption.

6. Project Persistence and Backups

The project state is continuously protected through multiple persistence layers:

  • Automatic Browser Storage: Backed by IndexedDB so data survives reloads and browser restarts.
  • JSON Project Export: Exports a lightweight JSON file containing all scripts, character sheets, prompt overrides, and configuration.
  • Media Reconnection: After importing a JSON project, use RECONNECT MEDIA to link images and clips stored in Google Flow's gallery.

7. Diagnostics and Error Reporting

A dedicated diagnostics tray displays active video and image models, resolution, scene count, and parser status:

  • Direct Error Messages: Any failure returned by Google Flow is surfaced directly in the relevant scene card.
  • Engine Test Utility: The ISOLATED ENGINE TEST button generates a single test image to verify Flow connection before running batches.
